FCTA to fine residents N100,000 for illegal tree felling

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) on Sunday, May 2, 2021 said cutting down of a tree either in private compound or in a public place without permission would attract a fine of N100,000. Workplan for Country Action Plan to protect threatened pollinating species validated

A group of ecologists has authenticated a workplan aimed at protecting pollinating species threatened with extinction. At a meeting held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Thursday, October 15, 2021, participants validated the National Trialogue on Pollinator-Friendly Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) Country Action Plan’s multi-year workplan.
