Biography
Dr. David Ayomide Sanni is an Environmental Management and Environmental & Social Safeguards Consultant with extensive experience in environmental and social assessment, impact management, resettlement planning, and safeguards implementation. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Management from the University of Port Harcourt.With a strong professional focus on sustainable environmental management and responsible project development, Dr. Sanni has contributed to the planning, assessment, and implementation of projects across various sectors. His areas of expertise include Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), Resettlement Action Plans (RAP), Livelihood Restoration Plans (LRP), environmental audits, impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, grievance redress mechanisms, and environmental and social safeguards. He has particular experience in integrating environmental and social considerations into infrastructure and development projects, with a strong understanding of national regulatory requirements and international environmental and social safeguard standards.
